Images of Seyssuel
Seyssuel is a little further north than Côte-Rôtie, on the other side of the river around the city of Vienne. It is currently within the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes growing area, but there are hopes to promote it quickly to a new Northern Rhône Cru.

A selection of Seyssuel wines – prices are already similar to Côte-Rôtie
Was quite an early fan of Seyssuel, mostly via L’Âme Sœur as well as the occasional VdeV. Glad to see it may get its own appellation some time soon. Seems to me plenty of potential.
It’s clearly a lovely terroir, I’m yet to be really blown away by a wine from Seyssuel but there are some that rival an OK Côte-Rôtie (Ame Soeur still among the best). Lots more producers buying land there now as it’s still fairly cheap. Better things to come though I’m sure.
