Sherry to me is a fascinating subject and a wine I love to try whenever I can. But, up here in Edinburgh the sherry thing really hasn’t caught on. My local wine shop has a great array of sherry supported by a real sherry enthusiast but it still seems a bit of a struggle to really get the memento going. At least you can still get a real wine bargain in this sector.
Hi Pete – shame that it’s taking a bit longer to reach you guys up there. At least Raeburn imports Bodegas Tradicion, one of the very best producers – but you’ll have to drop at least £50 a bottle… so not exactly everyday drinking stuff!
