Thank you for this article! I agree Languedoc is really a dynamic and interesting winegrowing region unfotunatly still struggling to compete against centurys of Bordeaux or Burgundy’s history. The good news is for the consumer who gets extremely good values for money!

I would mention as well the wines from La Clape and Pic saint Loup, which are two amazing terroirs, on the verge to get their own AOC label…

Hi Louise, was a shame I couldn’t make the tasting but would love to come down and meet you guys sometime soon. I try and get to the Languedoc once a year or so, so will give you a shout next time I’m in the area.

Hi Matt, as the founder of the Outsiders group, I couldn’t agree with you more. Shame you couldn’t make our tasting in London last month… you should come down to Languedoc sometime and meet us up close and personal.
