Whilst I support Shows in terms of trying to get consistency in style, elimination of faults etc, I now find the wines that interest me are quirky, sometimes a little faulty and above all full of character.
However, if a shiny medal encourages more people to start drinking wine rather than alcopops then it’s a good thing.
