Good to see Pesquie get some positive coverage. Have a huge amount of time for the Chaudiere family & their wines. Visited twice. Well overdue to call again.

Had hoped to see mention of Clos de Trias who’s wines am intrigued by but yet to try. Appreciate though, of course, a lot of wines out there !

Thanks Miquel. They’re relatively easy to find in the UK, so as you say, it’s perhaps more of a Spain thing. Ventoux is huge, and traditionally an area for inexpensive wines, so you do have to pick and choose a bit – but the best are just stunning.

Thanks for shedding some light on these. What I’ve tasted of Ventoux I’ve quite liked but they’re so off the radar typically, you simply don’t find it outside of France–perhaps more a Spain problem as we have a dab of Grenache here and there. Will keep an eye out these next time I head north.
