Interesting points, thanks for the comments. I did wonder when writing it whether I could have fleshed out the how the shop looked a little more – but decided to pare it back for the sake of being concise. I’ll try and add a little more details in forthcoming posts.

The thing that struck me most when visiting the shop, and what I felt was the key to its longevity, was the strength of Graham’s principles. This, and also his commitment to his customers in the local community. I hope at least that these points came through in the piece.
