Brilliant, thanks Martyn. I need to get some beers in for Christmas too so will check out your blog. I always seem to spend more on beer than wine of an evening though - if I share a bottle of wine, that's normally £5 - 8 each; if I buy myself 3 bottles of beer for the evening that's £9...

Glazed ham - a good farmhouse or Normandy cider
Roast goose - American IPA or Belgian golden ale
Turkey - wheat beer, or porter
Rib of beef - strong dark British ale
Christmas pudding - barley wine

That's sorted that for you, and a lot cheaper too. You're welcome.

Hi Daniel, glad you enjoyed it. There are lots of other good Crozes available of course, many better than this one - but also more expensive. This is the best value Crozes I've tasted lately - probably due to the scale of the deal with Sainsburys. It's by family-owned M Chapoutier - worth a try.
